Hanchao Zhang

Dr. Zhang is the PolyU Academy for Interdisciplinary Research (PAIR) Young Fellow Research Assistant Professor in the School of Fashion and Textiles of PolyU, the Editor of Journal of Materials Science, and the Co-founder of CircuTex Limited. His interdisciplinary research fields include environmental remediation, resource (textile/plastic/dye/ions) recycling, next-generation fiber/dye design, and car-bon capture. He obtained his Ph.D degree from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2021 and has been working at the PolyU until now. He is the early advisory board of the Environmental Science & Technology and obtained the super reviewer award in 2023.
